Hand-thrown art pottery mug, rich abstract drip blues and browns, signed and dated 1981 by artist Jack Boyle of San Antonio. From smoke-free storage. Glazed a rich rustic brown with darker specks and dark blue abstract arches around the body.
This one is complete and is in Good condition as shown.
The Kiddie Cup line consisted of 6 colors and patterns. Each of these has a different animal graphic. There are three (3) - 3-1/2" and nine (9) - 4" high glasses (aprox. The graphics are nice and vibrant. ).
The crystal is incredibly bright and clear, and the the cutting is amazing. The foot is radiant cut; the stem is faceted and refracts colorful lights like a prism, and each edge has a finely serrated cut detailing.
(No signature or label. Mint- Like New or New; 2.). Excellent- Used but near new with very minor wear, if any (small scratches or abrasions which are not very noticeable) 3.). Very Good- Used shows wear (scratches and/or abrasions) consistent with age of item; 4.).
