The Kildare pattern was introduced in 1973/1974 and was marked with the Waterford gothic script mark until 1986. The pattern was discontinued in 2017. Note: because these are older there is less consistency between each one, the heights can have a bit of a range and thickness of the stems can vary a bit more than ones made later on, but, in my opinion these older ones feel nicer, look nicer, I love thick
