TRULY A VERY HARD ONE TO FIND! This goblet is a rare c1860 Russian MALTSOV hexagonal glass goblet, featuring a pattern like the East Coast Excelsior era design. Crest and stamp in Cyrilic Alphabet.
The simple star on the hob indicates the Canterbury version of the Russian pattern. Note:Straus did not acid-sign their cut glass; attribution is based on cutting style, materials, and motifs. Hollow diamond-cut stems - also seen on Straus stems.
