A nice touch is the way the glass reflects ambient light, giving your drink a brighter appearance.
It was made in Pittsburgh, PA, U.S.A. by Bryce, Walker & Co. The pattern was introduced in ~1882. Reproductions of this pattern are known to exist, but this one would seem to be an original. The columns next to the stippled squares are longer, and extend above and below the other columns, and the glass gives a faint apple-green glow under UV light, due to manganese in the glass batch.
