The crystal is bright and vibrant with no fogging or clouding from hard water or dishwasher exposure. The gold is almost nonexistent as the gold over the lip. Crystal and stemware with gold or platinum decoration should not be placed then dishwasher to prevent thinning to loss of the decoration.
