This product is a vintage Cristal d'Arques margarita glass with a unique sombrero shape, standing at 7.5 inches tall. This pattern was made in various size stems, the water goblet being the most substantial. They boasted the “Crown Jewels” as their finest work. This goblet is in excellent condition! I cannot find any Crown Jewel for sale anywhere.
They were active in the 1920s-1940s. This has a stunning faceted cut stem, and intricate floral and leaf designs on the bowl and foot. This has two little nicks side by side on the rim. There is also one very small shallow chip on the outer rim.
The Kissing Doves design is classic and complex. These beautiful glasses, designed by Igor Carl Faberge, were crafted in France. Each still has the small Made in France sticker at the base. They would be a wonderful gift.
