The mug is accented with a hand-pulled side handle complete with a detailed clay thumb rest or lug at the base. The bottom of the foot ring reveals a light white stoneware clay body and features an incised cursive artist signature (appears to read "Kahn" or similar, maker otherwise unidentified).
It has a nice touch of balance, so it feels right for all occasions you imagine.
