See photos. This is a pre-owned antique. I think it is an extraordinary piece because I like mourning scenes. It looks like a new suitor is visiting the widow, to me. Sold as is. I think the designed is etched gold or painted? I don’t know because I cannot feel the design. I am undecided when I use a loupe, too. Some smudges in the glass that do not interfere with the design.
