CLEAR OPTIC BOWL ~ TAPERED SQUARE YELLOW STEM & YELLOW FOOT.
It was made in Pittsburgh, PA, U.S.A. by Bryce, Walker & Co. The pattern was introduced in ~1882. Reproductions of this pattern are known to exist, but this one would seem to be an original. The columns next to the stippled squares are longer, and extend above and below the other columns, and the glass gives a faint apple-green glow under UV light, due to manganese in the glass batch.
This original piece has a capacity of 64 oz and is decorated with Wexford pattern, perfect for all occasions.
