Webb Corbett Glass was set up by Herbert Webb and Thomas Webb III along with George Harry Corbett in 1897 at the Wordsley glass works near Stourbridge, England. Webb Corbett were manufacturers of high quality cut lead crystal tableware and vases.
Over the years, I have only encountered two individual examples and have never before seen a complete set of eight. Each glass is fully signed and beautifully preserved.
The glasses have gently flared rims, slender stems and finely decorated bases. Their smaller size makes them suitable for serving cordial, liqueur, sherry, port, dessert wine, aperitif or other after-dinner drinks.
